I finally finished this Knight AU page from last september so. Enjoy aesthetic drama nonsense.

After way too long, here's Emilio in the Mafia AU. He's part of the same 'family' as Marsilio, but Marsilio is super suspicious of him trying to take over Vieri because of his father being known for wanting the Don title, so he never trusts him.

 Emilio on the other hand does not give a flying fuck about the whole mafia business and genuinely is in love with Marsilio, and every single one of his flirting attempt is read as some attempt to befriend him in order to manipulate him and falls flat.

 Of course this drives Emilio mad and at some point he totally is going to just explode at Marsilio, because a man can only try to stay subtle for a while before getting fed up with small touches and smiles, and Marsilio is absolutely going to be confused as hell.

 To be fair, if that kind of reception doesn't read to Marsilio as 'this guy is trying to get into my pants', I can understand how at some point Emilio would get annoyed.

And because we haven't seen her in a while, I wanted to also draw Cristina in the Mafia AU, despite her having yet to be properly introduced in canon.

 A little angel, totally not a scheming little lady ready for everything to get what she wants. Contrary to Emilio, Cristina is really into the family business, and securing her position as high in the hierarchy of the family as she can. 

 Of course like in the canon Cristina and Emilio are very close, despite having very different motivations in life. 

And while we're in Emilio/Marsilio centric AUs, here a doodle from back in may that I never managed to fit into a post. It's just a single Merm AU doodle but I still love it, so here it is.

Emilio is a manatee and Marsilio is a whale, which are actually both mammals and not fishes like traditional mermaids but sshhhhh shhhh

mythological monsters are just furries for cowards

 Of course even in the Mythos AU Vieri is not too happy to be sharing his home with Luca. And yes this is totally a 'Vieri let him sit on the chair he's injured' and Vieri being a petty bitch because it's HIS chair and he now has a mighty need to be sitting.

And some drama because you know I can never get enough. Ofc if you didn't understand it by Luca's reaction to Marsilio in the little two page comic of the mythos AU, humans are pretty scared of monster and you know what happens when humans are scared.

 Speaking of scared humans, there's basically two choices for monsters: staying pacific and far from humans, or terrorizing them so they leave you alone. When Emilio got turned into a gorgon he ran with option two, hence why HE doesn't come back looking like a porcupine when venturing outside (stone-turning gaze helps with this too tbh).

Well he was also feeling vengeful as fuck, but that's a detail.

And some baby cow Marsilio hanging out with Leo, who's most likely gushing about his mermaid gf.

du sang et des homos

 I was craving some Knight AU content and it cames back gayer than ever. That one is obviously based on John Keats' 'La belle dame sans merci'

 Runaway Maffeo in the Knight AU, I just really wanted to draw those beautiful yet simple Medieval dresses.

 No homo just a king and his knight sitting in the garden smooching like bros do.

And then my hand slipped and I drew some fratricide, oops.

Pretty much like in canon, Maffeo's family is pretty crossed at him for running away from his duties, so in the Knight AU when he refuses to come back home, his father orders his brother Massimo to go kill him since he wants to play knight so bad. Drama ensue.

 I suddenly felt like doing more of the Mythos AU because greek mythology is fun and this AU makes no sense at all, which I love

 Also Emilio is much sassier with Marsilio in this AU, they kind of dance around each other a bit more aggressively than in the canon, and I love that too. It's a bit of a 'do you really want to kiss me or are you going to bite me' relationship if you will.

Now, asking the real questions:

 Marsilio sees anyone under 25 as a baby pretty much.

 Baby Luca in this AU is a simple human shepherd, because all mythology stories need a human to balance out the weird shit.

Which also mean I want to torture him even more than normally, hence why this happened:

 Luca is that kind of shepherd who goes back to save the one sheepy who got lost. Except that it's not always a good idea.

This actually turned into a 'how Luca met everyone in the Mythos AU' mini comic, but it's more like two out-of-context pages than anything.

 tfw you're just a simple boy and you suddenly see a tons of the monsters your grandma told you about.

Then Luca gets to stay there until his leg heals (which will take actual months so Vieri better get used to this human and his sheep stealing his bed) and makes friends with all the monsters (except Vieri, who of course hates him with a burning passion for no other reasons than misplaced jealousy and fear of being replaced, like in canon)

and that's how Luca got involved with all these monsters shenanigans.

I wanted to do some more AUs so I asked instagram and they delivered (I might do some more because there were A LOT)

Cute that in his fantasies Joaquin is taller than Amabel (Joa totally gets dragged on a crazy dangerous adventure in this AU)(also you bet your ass the baby is also there, he's just waiting in the car)

Lars with a ponytail I very important, Miguel agrees.

The closest to a modern AU we're getting I think. I gotta say I had this image in my head for a LONG time, and you can bet your ass they meet again at one of Marsilio's gallery opening for extra awkward points.

 Emilio totally is the femme fatale he doesn't care about your gender roles.

That's just free suffering for you bUT it was actually asked so. I'm not to blame.

 The little spots on Maffeo's pants are actually glittery, because you can't do late seventies/early eighties without sequins and glitters

more Dragon Age AU because I enjoy drawing Lars with big big horns

This time we go back in time to when both him and Miguel were still in Rivain. Miguel is about 14 there, so Lars is a baby 19 year old Qunari.

 According to the wiki one reason why Qunari do not strike conversation with other races is because most of them either don't know or are bad at the common tongue (p much the language spoken by all races between them), and since they're big of perfectionism they'd rather not talk at all. Of course it's also the case of Lars.

Even if you don't know much about Dragon Age I hope you like kitty shenanigans

I am my own fandom 2: the AUning

I can't get enough of AUs so I brought back some lately

I just HAD to do a version of the Dragon Age AU with Lars & co just because Lars fits so much as a Qunari. Sami is ofc a dwarf and Carmelo is an Elf necromancer (more of a 'city' elf but he actually was brought up in an upper class family)(it's a long story that kind of takes inspiration from his actual backstory so I'm not gonna spoil too much)

Miguel in this AU is a pirate/mercenary from Rivain (which is, for the non DA nerds, a place which is close to the Qunari homelands, so there's a lot of exchange/crossing between them), and he actually met Lars waaay before Sami did (the world is all upside down).

This AU is basically the 'everyone wants Lars' AU, and with dem horns I can understand them.

I also wanted to bring back the Mafia AU and draw Marino in it because cute 20-30s children clothes ? Hello ? Look at this cutie pie wandering in places he shouldn't be.

I had talked a bit about Leonello (Vieri's dad) being the Don of the rival family, but I didn't draw it then. I picture him being the kind of Don who like, buy orphanages to launder money, but also it actually funds the orphanage and kids get to have better childhoods ? But he would also probably shoot someone in cold blood if there was good reason to.

Marsilio is just a painter being hit hard by the global post-WW1 crisis and struggling to make a buck. Leo just decided he likes him so now they're friend and Marsilio gets to eat more than once a day.

Also Leonello means I had to draw the Mafia AU version of that scene™

I like to imagine that the guy who shot him is nicknamed The Boar, as a throwback to the canon.

And I wanted to draw the big ass mafia funeral following it. Sorry folks.
