Because at some point I had to draw Samira's girlfriend. It just took me like, ten months to finish the page.

 

New challengers have entered the arena

Fifteen years later, I finally finished, and scanned the intro for these two.

Gidéon, despite being a fairly popular actor/singer, has horrible stage fright, and by that I do mean that every single night someone has to pep talk him on stage, one time it just happened that Aimé, who's often lurking backstage, was the person to do so, and lo and behold despite having never noticed him before there wasn't a need for much more for Gidéon to get the dokies. Aimé is clueless about it tho, he's just being nice.

Actually, once Aimé understands that Gidéon is into him, he starts sleeping with him for all the wrong reasons, because else it's not the 18th century.

Ah, he's here too. / Glad to see you too, Apolline. / On the way to deafen the parisians, as I see. / Pah ! Even if I did my best, I would not to as much damage as you do, my dear. / Pig. / Harpy. / To be honest, you'd make a better harlot than a singer. / You as well, my dear.

Apolline is the prima donna of the Opera. Since her and Benigno sing at the same range (and sometimes compete for the same roles), they are terrible rivals who never miss a chance to trash talk the other, but since it's the 18th century they gotta bring this tension in bed. 

Apolline is also one of Eugénie's rare genuine friends, even if she acts snobbish and cold she really does care about her.

 

Who needs more OCs when you can just make AUs

I just really needed to draw genderbent Marsilio… For science… And it was very good science (I need to include them in a NSFW sketchbook page one day…)

I like to think Marsilio would be called Marcella and Emilio Emiliana. 

Marcella and Emiliana. That just sounds cute ok.

And some modern AU fun. Emilio tries to warm Marsilio to the idea of PDA, slowly… 

And to conclude, I was craving some Mafia AU shenanigans, and boy did my hands cooperate for once.

Even when Marsilio agrees to have casual sex with Emilio, he still is super suspicious of him, so there's always some tension between them despite Emilio genuinely having no bad intentions.

 

Tea, but make it hot

Back in April, a friend launched the idea of drawing our favorite teas as characters. I couldn't choose between the shitty cheap black tea I always drink (my comfort tea) and my then actual favorite, a fancy cinnamon tea, so I made two of them.

In my head they're both some flavor of non-binary. 

And then we started shipping our tea folks because of course we did.

Rose tea belongs to her.

And my sibling joined the fun with piccadilly blend, which we decided is from the same family as Black tea.

Anyway, those tea children are very fun, would recommend (if you do decide to join the fun, tag it #teasona !)

 

Somebody stop me

I just can't resist designing all of my characters' families and this is getting out of hand. Here's baby Artsiom with his big sister Halyna, his big (big) brother Heorhiy, his dad Pavlo, and his other brother Fedir.

Fun fact, you know how the monks in this universe all get a new name upon joining the monastery ? Artsiom's birth name is 'Yuliy'. Because why have characters have only one name when you can give them multiple ?

Artsiom and his family are goat keeper (or more like, were). Here Halyna is herding the cow by kulning, which I gotta link a vid to because it's so cool. 

And you bet your ass the whole family knows hot to do this herding call.

And now for less wholesome things…

I won't go too into details because I really want to make an actual comic about these characters. But enjoy good old trauma (is it a nightmare, is it a memory, what a mystery)

Fedir dies on the battlefield and I apparently just could not stop drawing it over and over.

ofc it's not fun if his big brother doesn't get to survive. Else how is he going to feel the pain ?

On another note, I wanted to draw grown-up Fedir in an AU where he did not die so young, so here he is in his glorious pretty-but-still-feisty glory.

I also got some old drawings from july that I did not post yet, so have some modern AU babies

Crossing Animals

 I've been playing New Horizon since last April and at some point I had to draw some art for it. 

So, on the two end of the spectrum, I humanized my -then- villagers, and on the other I drew them as actual animals.

Sometimes you just gotta draw a family tree for your OC because you just have too many dang links in between them.

No but seriously this was a fun exercise, and now I really want to explore more of the family I had to design for this lol

Monster lover: the AU

The mythos AU juste continue to scratch the monster fucker itch in my brain. I get you Luca, I get you.

In this AU, since Emilio was not born a monster, the rest of his family is human, but it also means he can't see his sister anymore :( he just watches from afar.

Meanwhile, she's searching for him, but it's hard for her to get far  with her condition. She still does stumble upon Marino while trying at some point.

Mi-sun more like my SON

I think the last time I posted a drawing a Mi-sun he still had no name. So yeah, looks like boy is here to stay, he's my 'I just want to relax' OC, so most of what he does is look cute.
