I just really like the 70s alright

This is a mismatched post with some 70s AU for the far west trio that I did back in january (at first I thought I would put it with some more art I did of them, but then I haven't drawn them since, sooo it's time to post those)

In this AU, Georgie is a mechanic instead of a rancher, Amabel is still a shady backdoor doctor's nurse (while juggling being a mom for the kiddo) and Joaquin is a (bad) undercover cop who ends up falling head over heels for Amabel.

My favorite part from this AU is Amabel's Farrah Fawcette hair stbh, it looks so good on her, I wish I could give her original self this haircut.

Also speaking of 70s, I finally drew the rest of Gracília and Carina's witch coven !

From left to right, there's Madalena, Lurdes, Beatriz, Gracília and Josefa. And the lady with the floral shawl is Amália, which is the one who put the coven together.

For cowboys there's a real lack of cows around here

 Cowboys means they have to have horses, so I have to draw them, and I DID, but it was hardcore (and the result is, alright to stay nice)

 Was talking with my friend about those clowns and we came to the conclusion that the reason that Georgie never closes their shirt is because it's a hassle to button with one hand. Amabel is helping out because you can't go tits out to church.

I impulse drew this way too late during the night so just take it. Georgie and their late boyfriend having some good ol' american fun.

I started by drawing Amabel in a pretty sunday dress and then I needed to draw them all in their sunday clothes. They're 100% up to no good because no one knows how to behaves beside Amabel in this gang.

 Amabel and her mom. They lived in a town that didn't really think highly of them, especially Amabel, so kids would rough her up often.

 Her mom raised her on her own, which wasn't an easy feat at the time, but she managed all things considered.

Amabel used to have high hopes in her father really coming back home -she never met him-, but as she grew older she grew more and more sour about it, and ended up deciding she'd bring him back herself; for her sake and her mother's. We all know how this ended up for little Amabel.

I actually did something pride themed this year so enjoy those doodles with not always so subtly hidden flag colors. Anyway be gay do crime and don't by from big corporation this month.

Cute that in his fantasies Joaquin is taller than Amabel (Joa totally gets dragged on a crazy dangerous adventure in this AU)(also you bet your ass the baby is also there, he's just waiting in the car)

The closest to a modern AU we're getting I think. I gotta say I had this image in my head for a LONG time, and you can bet your ass they meet again at one of Marsilio's gallery opening for extra awkward points.

 Emilio totally is the femme fatale he doesn't care about your gender roles.

 The little spots on Maffeo's pants are actually glittery, because you can't do late seventies/early eighties without sequins and glitters

Someone suggested a model AU where Amabel specifically is a leg model and I approve (Joaquin does too)

One thing I failed to mention about the Far West Trio is that it's actually a quatuor and they're all babysitting (found family trope you're saying ?)

Most of the things about the baby boy are spoilery so I can't say too much but just know that it's a good baby (& that I can't draw smol children in a consistent manner, which doens't matter because the story spans multiple years (that's my excuse))

And Georgie and their Brothers, Eugene and Georgie (yep). They used to pretend to be the others to avoid trouble.

OC Q&A 4: yee haw edition

I did another round of OC Q&A on instagram focused on the Far West trio this time, it's a bit of a shorter one because it fell right when I was art blocked, but it was fun nonetheless.

Cowboy food is like 50% meat stews and the other 50% is dried shit, which I stan honestly. Sadly all these three eat 100% of the time is beans.

Amabel is a beautiful goddess in every centuries.

 It's kind of crazy how well women at the time took care of their hair (but also not that surprising when you see all the crazy long hair of the victorian ladies). Amabel does her best to stay clean and proper at all time, but ofc it's pretty hard when you travel the desert all day.

As much as I loathe Valentine's day as a commercial holiday, you know what I like ?

Drawing my characters being mushy in the name of celebrating love. 

So I asked peeps over on instagram to suggest cute couple things for my OC to do, and boy do the people delivered.

Suggestion #1: Miguel and Lars at pride. How fucking CUTE it that idea. 10/10

Suggestion #2: the western trio doing some target practice. More like pretending to refine revolver skills as an excuse to get waaaay too close (Georgie is the only one being serious about it)

Suggestion #3: Pia & Lucia bathing. Which, once more, hello ? Yes I stan. 

Suggestion #4: Gladiator AU Emilio teaching Marsilio how to sword fight (and a little more). There's just no way to draw people wrestling without it looking horny.

Suggestion #5: Luca giving Cosima flowers, feat. Vieri ready to kill a man.

Suggestion #6: Miguel & Lars having a pizza date. Yes you'll see that I was in a big Miguel/Lars mood while doing these

Suggestion #7 & #8: Gracília doing Carina's makeup and Vieri's dad teaching Marsilio how to kiss, because you take what you can when you have a crush.

Suggestion #9: Miguel and Lars sleeping together (+morning smooches).

Suggestion #10: Gracília & Carina making a love spell/potion. Gracília is mostly assisting here but someone's gotta hold the pot.

Suggestion #11: Lars & Samira's first valentine's day. You bet your ass Sami is the one doing the gifting here, she's just giving him a smooch first.

Suggestion #12: Maffeo, Vieri & Cosima going for a night swim. Cheating a bit here because Cosima is not in couple with those two but hey, Valentines is also about loving your friends.

Suggestion #13: Miguel wearing Lars' clothes. He's probably calling him out on how he only owns plain t-shirt but Lars is not listening.

Suggestion #14: Marsilio & Emilio sleeping together (or trying to)
