FAQ

What material do you use ?
  • Either alcohol markers (promarkers primarly but I have a bunch of random copics too), watercolor or gouache for traditional drawings. Digitally I use CLIP studio paint for comics and photoshop, I draw with a Cintiq 13hd-
What type of sketchbook do you use ?
  • I’ve been using the Canson Croquis XL Album 90gsm in A5 for ever (because it’s cheap and there’s not a lot of choice where I live) but recently I’ve been mixing it up. I tried the Lana Colours Sketch 96 gsm in A5 recently but it was too ‘grainy’ for me so I drew on the smooth side, I've tried Mossery mixed media sketchbook and wasn't impressed for the price (it takes watercolor really badly in my experience, but is good with markers) and right now I'm using a sketchbook made by Sush/@Trickywagon, which reacts weirdly with alcohol marker but I like it because it's forcing me to actually treat it like a sketchbook lol. Anyway, in doubt I’m always using some kind of spiral A5 sketchbook with smooth ass lightweight paper.
Did you go to art school ?
  • Yes ! But I would not recommend where I went. I can’t speak for other countries, but please do deep researches before going to an art school, if possible speak with a variety of graduates. I find that the art sector is often the place for people trying to scam young artists with big dreams, even bigger 'prestigious' schools can have dirt on them so be sure to check ! Nowadays there are also so many ressources online to learn everything you could in school, so if you're motivated enough you could totally pass going to school and use the money you'd save to go to life-drawing classes. Also try to look into your local art community, as probably the biggest perk of art school is being surrounded by other artists, which is really enriching, but there are also many little drawing clubs and there might be one in your city that can emulate this !
How did you get so good at ___ / How do you draw ___ ??
  • Practice & Study (from photographs or from life whatever, just do it, and regularly). Also use reference pictures when you draw !! It naturally trains your eye, so you're pretty much always learning when you draw.
Where do you get your inspiration for clothing from ?
  • Pinterest, there’s a ton of fashionable boards out there, and most pictures are from instagram so ? This and that. I also love to draw from ugly ass 90s fashion magazines so I recommend diving into that.
Best art advice ?
  • U S E   R E F E R E N C E S also don’t try to draw what is trendy, just draw the weird ass niche shit you’re truly into and people will follow.
Who are all these characters ?
  • You can have a little intro of the most releveant of them here. I don’t like writing huge paragraphs of text to explain who they are and what they do but you should get plenty of info from the little ‘comics’ I draw with them. THO if you are curious about anything, feel free to ask in the comments, just be sure to check my OC page first so you don't ask already answered questions !
Can you draw ___ ?
  • Welp, not for free. You can check my commission info any time (even when they’re not open) here.
