Alright now that we got the whole archiving thing behind us, we can finally turn to present time stuff, starting with Lars and Carmelo, the protagonists of my should-be next comic.

So if you wanted a refresher (or you're new here), you're in the right place duderino

Carmelo (striped clothes enthusiast) is a fresh corpse inexplicably brought back to life after his quick accidental death. He rented Lars’ (long black hair) place from his ex-girlfriend (cutie with the birthmark below) when Lars was in jail. Shenanigans ensue when Lars finds Carmelo’s 'dead' body at the bottom of his flat’s staircase on his first day as a free man, calls the cops only for the body to have disappeared, and later sees him again very much -basically- alive in his apartment.

They decide to room together, as Lars is jobless, and Carmelo has money that will go to waste once he rots completely.

Samira is the only adult who got her shit together in this story (aside from hating confrontation so much that it took her way too long to break up with Lars)

I enjoy drawing Carmelo a lot. Here he is alive, while he had to care for Torvi.

Miguel, another very important character in the story even tho we won't see him much. He was Lars' cellmate in jail who got out before him. He's a good boy (more or less)

Carmelo was always a smoker but started smoking more as a corpse to hide the stench of decay. It's a happy story

Miguel was a sweetheart to Lars and pretty much showed him how it worked around in prison. Lars was… Lars, for a good chunk of time.

important to say that Samira and Lars had been dating for nearly 13 years. They're childhood friends turned childhood sweethearts pretty fast.

a lot of this comic is spent smoking and being in bed together

and now for some self-indulgent AUs

 The idea is Carmelo and Lars meeting way before their lives went to shit (with Carmelo dying at 24 and Lars going to jail and losing everything). Basically Lars is on the worst most boring beach vacation far from Samira, and Carmelo lives near the beach. Since they both loiter around the beach barracks, they end up hitting it off, and Carmelo spends his time teasing Lars, and Lars feels weird for developing feelings for a guy.

That's it, that's my sad gay beach AU.
